Art and life meet in the living room of Charlie Metz and Randy Ford’s downtown condo.
Today Metz’s and Ford’s touches are visible everywhere – including through the artwork and musical instruments that fill the space and helped get them through a battle with cancer. "This building and the developer gave us the flexibility to let us design exactly what we wanted," Metz said. He and Ford, both optometrists with Clarkson Eyecare, moved from a home in the Central West End, where they had lived for 14 years. Mark Watson of Chesterfield-based Hardesty Homes served as construction manager on their condo, and Robert Levine of Chicago-based Robert Levine Interiors was the interior designer. D.E.
